Sawa for Development in Partnership with Ushagram Suisse Association - "No Child Left Behind"

Sawa for Development, in partnership with Ushagram Suisse Association, launches the 'No Child Left Behind' initiative, targeting vulnerable communities in Lebanon's West Bekaa region: Mansoura village, Khiara, and Qab Elias. Our intervention focuses on the BLN Education Program, delivering non-formal education to Syrian refugee children. This comprehensive program includes English and Arabic language studies, Mathematics, and vital Social and Psychological support. Spanning three cycles of four months each, our goal is to seamlessly reintegrate these children into public schools. Our collaboration with Ushagram Suisse Association commenced in 2016, sparking impactful projects. The initial endeavor empowered Syrian and Lebanese women through Tailoring, Knitting, Embroidery, and Recycling workshops, showcasing their creations at Jib Jannine's exhibition. Subsequently, the Vocational Training project in Faour village equipped 30 out-of-school youths (aged 14-20) with skills in Car Mechanics, Nail Polish, Makeup, and Accountability, opening avenues for their employment.
